Also, check out the new classroom labels I concocted below. I wish I knew a way to make the pictures a little more clearer, but they will do the job for now!

second grade, 2nd grade, 1st grade, first grade, teaching, blog, technology blog, catherwoodscastle, catherwood's castle,
I guess summertime is meant for relaxing, but I can't keep off of Pinterest! I saw a cute teacher sign on there and just HAD to make my own to match my classroom's bright colors! I planned it out on paper first, then had to paint 2-3 coats of acrylic paint. I then used a black scrapbooking marker to draw the letters in my name. I hot glued the feather boa to the bottom (Upon my husband's request - he didn't care for it all the way around!) and glue/stapled another piece of the boa to the top as a hanging piece. I think it turned out just spiffy! I know this will help welcome students, parents, and guests into my magical castle! Also, check out the new classroom labels I concocted below. I wish I knew a way to make the pictures a little more clearer, but they will do the job for now!

It's that time again! Celebrating holidays around the world! Our 2nd grade team collaborated together to make brochures and smart files for 10 different holidays. I was in charge of Israel and thought I would share this fun interactive smart file with you all! This is 20-some page smart file that contains entertaining videos (including airline attendant intro video), diagrams, photos, maps, and interactive quality tools to help students with their learning! There is even a video on how to make Latkes! I hope you enjoy the month of December as much as I do! So excited to start our 3-week trip around the world! Get your tickets, passports, and suitcases ready!
